Let's not sugar-coat it: the 56-run loss to Chitwan Rhinos last weekend was a tough watch. Cricket's a humbling game, and CRCC humbled us.
So what did we learn?
Three lessons
- Powerplay discipline. Three wickets in the first six overs is too many — we need to value our wickets.
- Death-overs bowling. 71 runs off the last 5 was painful. Time to drill yorkers and slower balls.
- Energy in the field. Two dropped catches in the deep cost us at least 20 runs. We're better than that.
The good news? We've got two weeks of nets to fix all three. Brothers — let's go.
